Stanton, it is such an encouragement to hear your beautiful music, but even more than that. Paul tells us in Phil 4:8, “…Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” He’s asking us to fill our minds with what is beautiful, and your music is one of those things. Your music uplifts me, and–knowing Who your inspiration comes from–reminds me of Jesus’ love and grace, when i might otherwise lose sight of it. God bless you, too, and thank you so much.

This is one of my favorite passages Susan. It is amazing how Phil. 4 verses 6, 7, and then 8 are such a rich layering of grace and truth. My Tenor Plah blog post was about Phil. 4:8.

I just read it, and I’ll never forget the sequence of “true, noble, right, pure, lovely, or admirable” things we are to fill our minds with. One of my favorite verses, too, and even more so now. That was beautiful and inspiring! I was given one of your cds a few years ago by a very dear friend who knew I was experiencing some tough times and she hoped your music would bring me comfort, peace and hope. It did all that and more. Your music is what I turn to to relax, decompress and relieve stress. I try to read the Bible verse upon which each song is written and meditate on the Words as I listen. I had the pleasure of seeing you in concert last year in the Atlanta area, it was a blessing! Thank you for your music and the encouragement it offers.
