This new song Quiet Revelation happened within a few days in late June 2020, and was completed much faster than usual. The idea I wanted to express was very clear in my mind, but how would the music take shape? I personally need to invest time regularly to slow down, quiet my mind, be still, and listen. When I compose music there is a sense of the melodies coming down from heaven. It feels like God already knows the tune, and He reveals it to me through quiet revelation. The song name and theme invite you to listen for some kind of quiet revelation you may need in your life and faith right now.

A chamber string orchestra plays beautiful chords and swells as the harmony foundation. The piano carries the melody, and is gradually joined by cello and later French horn as the chorus builds and repeats. A gentle choir and more symphony strings join the chamber orchestra to enrich the harmonies underneath, as verse and chorus melodies build emotionally. All of these musical textures symbolize the wonder and diversity of words God wants to say to us, and songs He wants to sing over us.

Relax, close your eyes, and invite your heart, soul, and mind to be blessed with Quiet Revelation. “I love your clear-cut revelation. You’re my place of quiet retreat; I wait for your Word to renew me.” (Psalm 119:113-114, MSG)

Your description of how the melodies come to you echo with my experience with poetry. Sometimes I feel as if I am only there to act as a channel for what God wants to say at that time. Sometimes it.’s just for me, but sometimes, as I write them I feel aware of where it is going. Peace is so hard to find with Covid stalking our days and I find myself struggling to express it. When I do the reactions I get tells me it is vital to keep writing. Keep writing and giving us inspiration to write, to dream, to find strength to live our lives in this trying time

Dear Clare, thank you for listening to and reading the inspiration behind this new song “Quiet Revelation.” I appreciate your words, and am glad to know this inspired you with your poetry writing. I have found that God as the Creator with capital “C” is faithful to reveal art, music, words, etc. to us a creators with lower case “c” as we keep creating. God’s blessings to you! – Stanton

This music is beautiful as always I must say the name of this one tells me that God is warning us of the book of the Bible Revelations with all the hate people are showing toward one another. I am not worried about dying God has my soul. and I know where I am going. He is trying to get more people to repent. The song told me everything will be okay He IS in control

I could hear the words, how I love you, love you over and over again.
I saw the galaxies sparkling love you, love you…the ebb and flow of the music reminds me of the movement of the water of the tides, the rhythm of life. He is in and through and surrounds me with His love!
    His Word truly restores us!

Reminds me of Lac Le Juene
    Rainbows
Wild strawberries that my husband picks for me
    Ospreys and eagles
Campfires and just resting in His love

    Amazed by His glory:)

This am I sang O the Deep Deep love of Jesus by Samuel Trevor Francis
of course scripture b/c it is my deepest comfort:)

    Romans chapter 8: 37,38,39
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I do not know how I discovered your music but I did so thank you.

Praying for all the persecuted brethren this am especially the imprisoned pastors in China.
May they all know how deep and wide the Father’s love is for them.

    And
For the little church that God is building in Niger…for Arthur and Irene, for Cowboy and Beau, for the Hansel Family, For Isobel and the 4 orphaned children, for grandpa, for Karin in South Africa and her family, for people in Burma and Marie who lost her husband and has 5 orphaned children to care for…the Eubanks Family…beautiful family of God…missionaries there….

    love to them all but

Jesus we need you to come and take us home, like you promised you would

    Maranatha!

Blessings in Christ, dear brothers and sisters in the LORD.

May we all have Holy Ghost boldness in these days:)

    In Christ

So calming and peaceful! I have some of your CD’s but I need to order more. Your Mother & Daddy went to church with us. I sure do miss them. How are they doing, We have moved to Lake Oconee to be close to my sister who lost her husband and to be close to my brother who has cancer and is a miracle. We will eventually move back to Habersham Co.

    Stanton,
I appreciate your sharing of your gift. Your music and reflection touch my heart. I recently made a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. As I stood on a large rock taking in the mountain vista, I was moved and humbled by the beauty and majesty of God’s creation and then a breeze slowly raised and surrounded me. My soul was deeply stirred as I was so very much aware of God’s presence. . . the Holy Spirit. I felt joy, exhilaration, and gratitude. It was revelation. When I listened to your new composition, I experienced the same feeling and then when I read your reflection and paid attention to the actual name of your composition it was as God was speaking to me. I am so blessed to experience God in your music. Thank you.
